Corporate Booking Questions

What event managers and EAs ask us before they book. Anything missing, send it with your date and venue.

Have you played corporate events before?

Regularly — holiday parties, client events and company celebrations, including work for Google, Coca-Cola, Tecovas, Sidley Austin, Meritage Homes and the cities of Burnet and Dripping Springs. A corporate crowd is a different job from a honky tonk and we staff and dress it accordingly.

Where do you play corporate events?

Austin is home and most of our corporate work is here, but we travel for the rest of it — Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, the Hill Country and further when the event calls for it. Tell us where yours is and we will quote the travel with the date.

Can you keep the volume down for a corporate room?

Yes. We control stage volume and mix to the room, and we are used to playing dinner sets where people still need to talk. Tell us the room and the format and we will set levels for it — a conference ballroom and an outdoor tailgate are not mixed the same way.

Do you provide your own sound and lighting?

Professional sound and lighting are available and we can arrive with everything your venue needs, so there is no separate A/V vendor to coordinate. If your venue or your production company is already handling it, we will work with their system and their engineer.

How long do you play, and what happens between sets?

We carry four hours of music, usually as 90-minute sets with short 15-minute breaks. We do not provide DJ services, but the music does not have to stop: send us a playlist and we can run it through the sound system on the breaks — a Spotify link is easiest — or plug in a device of your own. We build the running order around your agenda — awards, speeches and the point in the night you want people dancing.
