Live 90s Country in Fort Worth

Fort Worth is the one market on this list where the music we play is not a novelty. This is a city with a working western identity rather than a themed one, and a crowd here knows the difference between a band that has learned the 90s country catalog and a band that grew up in it. That is a fair test and we are happy to be held to it.

We are based in Austin, about 190 miles and three hours south. Fort Worth sits on the same trip as our Dallas dates, so the travel arrangement is well practised: full band, full backline, load-in during the afternoon, and lodging if the night runs late.

To be straight with you: our public date history in DFW is concentrated on the Dallas side — the Uptown Block Party, New Year's Eve at Legacy Hall in Plano, a wedding in Little Elm. We have not yet played a public Fort Worth date. We would like to, and if you are booking one we would rather you knew where we have actually been than read a page claiming a Stockyards residency we do not have.

Playing Fort Worth Rooms

Fort Worth has more genuine dance halls and honky tonks per capita than anywhere in the Metroplex, and the rooms that matter mostly have a wooden floor and an audience that intends to use it. That suits us — our sets are built around two-step, waltz and swing tempos rather than a wall of sing-along choruses, because a dance floor is what a 90s country set is actually for.

The other half of the work here is the barn and ranch wedding circuit out through Aledo, Weatherford and Granbury. Those venues are often beautiful and rarely well equipped: no house sound, power at the far end of a long run, and no cover if the weather turns. We bring our own sound and lighting for exactly those dates, and we will ask you some unglamorous questions about generators and load-in access before we quote.

Booking Us in Fort Worth

Travel, timing and logistics for western DFW Metroplex dates specifically.

Have you played in Fort Worth before?

Not a public Fort Worth date yet — our DFW history is on the Dallas side, including the Uptown Block Party in October 2025, Legacy Hall in Plano on New Year's Eve, and a wedding reception in Little Elm. We travel to the Metroplex regularly and Fort Worth is the same trip; we would rather tell you that plainly than imply a local history we do not have.

What does it cost to bring the band up from Austin?

Travel is quoted as a separate line on your estimate. Fort Worth is roughly 190 miles and three hours each way, so expect travel for the full band and lodging if the event finishes late.

Do you bring sound and lighting to barn and ranch venues?

Yes, and for most venues out toward Aledo, Weatherford and Granbury you will want us to. Professional sound and a lighting package are available. Tell us what power is available and how close a vehicle can get to the stage area, and we will tell you what we need.

Can you handle a Stockyards-area event with a local crowd?

That is the crowd our set is built for. We play the 90s catalog at dance tempos, which is what a room like that expects. Watch the live videos before you decide — it is a more useful answer than anything we can write here.
