Wedding Booking Questions

Do you play the ceremony?

No — we do not provide ceremony music. We stick to what we do best: nonstop live 90s country for the reception, keeping the party going all night after you get married. We can sometimes cover dinner or cocktail hour music too, and that is something we work out on the call about your event.

Can we choose our first dance song?

If it is a song we already play, we will happily play it — send it over with your booking. If it is outside our genre or something we do not currently know, we can talk it through, but in most cases we will ask you to play that one from a Spotify link or another source rather than have us cover it live.

How long do you play at a wedding reception?

We carry four hours of music. A typical reception is two or three sets of about 90 minutes with short 15-minute breaks, During the breaks we can play a playlist you provide — send a Spotify link, or plug in your own device — so the room never goes quiet. We do not provide DJ services. We build the running order around your timeline — first dance, toasts, cake, last song.

Do you bring sound and lighting, or does the venue?

Professional sound and a lighting package are both available and we can arrive with everything the venue needs. Plenty of Texas wedding venues already have a system, so tell us which yours is and we will work with it rather than charge you twice.

How much space does the band need?

A performance area of about 20 feet by 16 feet fits the full band comfortably. A stage is nice but not required — we have played grass, concrete, hardwood and outdoor patios. For an outdoor reception we will also need power and cover for the gear.
