Live 90s country for corporate events, weddings and private parties across Greater Houston.
Book the BandHouston is the city outside Austin where we have played the most actual rooms. Chapman & Kirby, Truck Yard and the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice are all on our history, alongside a run of private corporate bookings that has brought us back every February since 2024. It is roughly 165 miles and two and a half hours from Austin, which makes it the easiest big-market trip we do.
That mix of venues tells you something useful about how we work. Chapman & Kirby is a polished event space, Truck Yard is an outdoor icehouse, and the Crystal Ballroom is a restored historic ballroom — three completely different rooms needing three different volume levels and three different set builds. A Houston booking is rarely a copy of the last one.
Most of our Houston work is corporate. Energy-sector company parties, client events and holiday parties make up the bulk of it, and those events usually come with an agenda, an AV contractor and a room full of people who need to hear each other talk during dinner. We are used to that and we mix for it.
Private bookings are listed without the client's name. Public dates are on our show schedule, and there is live footage from several of these rooms on the video page.
The Houston corporate calendar is front-loaded into the first quarter and then again from October, and it books further ahead than anywhere else we play. If you are planning a company party for February, enquiring in the previous autumn is normal here rather than excessive.
Outside the corporate work, Houston weddings tend to happen in hotel ballrooms and historic venues downtown rather than the barn venues you get around Austin and Fort Worth. Those rooms almost always have house sound and an in-house engineer, which usually simplifies things and lowers the quote — we just need to know early so we are not shipping a PA 165 miles for nothing.
One genuinely local consideration: humidity. An outdoor August date in Houston is hard on instruments and harder on the people playing them. We will still do it, but we will ask about shade, power for fans, and whether the stage can go anywhere other than full sun.
